Selling house privately

As I have not been able to sell my house through Estate Agent I am now selling privately. What kind of questions should I ask buyer. Obviously I know we have to exchange Solicitors.

Get the full name and address of the buyer - and his/ her solicitor. Then contact your solicitor and tell them that you want to sell the house privately to that person. They will confirm your instruction and their terms of engagement (the fees) & do all the rest of the work and guide you through the transaction, liaising with you as required. Well done for avoiding those estate agent fees!0

Make sure you ask their situation - ie - house on market? offer accepted? what kind of chain, if any. etc. it should be no more than using common sense really, dont worry u will be fine. Good Luck!!0
