How many cards?

Just wondering what the max amount of cards is that you should apply for from any one supplier.

I have 2 mbna cards - 1 with £3200 on it.
- 1 just payed off and cancelled at start of month

I want to apply for the virgin card so that I can put my £4000 overdraft on it.

is this a good idea.

We have 4 Barclaycards and a Skycard (BC). Combined credit limit of 26k. None have a balance except the Platinum 2.9% LOB and the Skycard that gets paid in full each month and everything goes on it to get the points.

I dont know if its a good idea or not though

only get the virgin card if your going to pay it off before the 0% ends mine has just ended should have changed to 15.9% .but just received letter saying interest is now 24.9% hundreds have got same letter changing to 4.9% guaranteed till balance transfer is paid off avoid virgin changed to citibank
