Paid off balance, will quoted min payment still go out?

I have paid off a credit card that had a balance of £3500 on it. The statement came out about 10 days ago and the min payment was 112. This is paid by DD on about the 12th. My question is will they still take this amount? thanks

Depends who the card is issued by. Some always take the minimum payment. Others will take into account any manual payments you have made provided they clear in time for the alteration to the DD to be made.

The details will be in your T&Cs, but who is the card issued by?

Some cards (MBNA for example) take the minimum DD regardless of any additional payments, others adjust (or cancel) the DD. The statement should give you information, which way your card works.

As you haven't mentioned the issuer of your card, nobody can tell you how they operate.

Barclaycard cancels the minimum payment - if you paid over. but it must be at least 3 or 5 days before the dd instrustion goes out.
