NS&I Investment Account

Just got home to a letter telling me my NS&I Investment Account is changing. They are doing away with the passbook and will become a postal only account.
I phoned NS&I to go through my options and find out what way the account wil be changing. They where not very helpful couldn't suggest offer a similar account to what I have. So i've opted to closed the account....
Now the question is where to put my £400 I had in there? I don't want an instant access account but want to add to it and not a set amount each mth.
Any suggestions?

If you want a similar pass-book account for a small amount with instant access, try any Building Society. It won't pay much but neither did the NS&I account.0

Open an internet savings account and send any spare money through internet banking - some offer an ATM card which you might find useful.0
