in Credit cards
I don't know if anyone can throw any light on this, but I was listening to You & Yours on Radio 4 today whilst driving (so couldn't make notes) but they had a woman on who said that recent changes meant that a card holder could stop a Continuous Payment Authority with their own bank or Credit Card Company if they had difficulty with the company who had the CA agreement.
It's not something I was aware of, but can anyone on here enlighten us?

I saw a thread yesterday that was discussing a newspaper article (I think it was the Guardian) about this, if I find it I'll add a link.

Thanks for that. It would seem to be some good news for those people who have had trouble with stopping payment to some of the more disreputable type companies."There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry.
