in Credit cards
I have just paid off 90% of my debt. I now only have a car hire purchase agreement, and 3 current accounts with ovedrafts. One of which I am about the close altogether. I previously had credit card, store cards and catalogue agreements, missed payments and paid late etc. My question is: How long do i wait before my rating improves and i can apply for a reasonable credit card with a decent rate around 14-15%. Or should i go for one of the credit improving cards like Barclaycard or Capital One that are 30% and use one of those for 6 months to improve my 'rating', then switch. Im still pretty confused about how to get things back on track again and be seen as a 'good' candidate in the eyes of lenders!

well done on paying off 90% of your debt
but i'm completely confused why you want to get more credit and why you want to be seen as a 'good' candidate to pay lots of interest to lenders.0
