We're visiting London the weekend of March 11th fora wedding anniversary, I have never bought tickets for a London show and my only experience is as a kid, 20 years ago, visiting the special booths for cheap tickets on the night.
How's it work these days - all done online in advance or still best to browse on the night? Am I already too late and should have booked weeks ago for a Saturday night show?

for matilda you need to book now, but you might already be out of luck.
check https://www.seetickets.com or https://www.ticketmaster.co.uk
This is not one that will offer any discounts, and it will be old out by the time you get to london.0 -
As stinky101 said, it will sell out. There are still seats available at the moment online but if it says it is sold out by the time you go to book, you can phone the theatre direct on 0844 412 4652 and they may have seats.0
