Logo Design Any free software?

does any one know where I can get my hands on some free (and legal) logo design software.

Doesn't have to be flash.

www.inkscape.org is a vector drawing program, so your logos will re-size - free -

I can't help you with any logo software but there are some graphics tutorials here, you'll still need some suitable image software though.

Gimpshop is also free, I haven't tried it out myself yet but it's worth a try.

There is available a preview version of Microsoft Graphic Designer which is quite good, and free. It's available from

But it is 118MB!
Might be worth a look.
