Where is the op going to get a 0% card from with over 100% of his annual income in CC debt already ?
Surprisingly credit card companies where very happy to give me cards, well up until recently when I exhausted the supply of good deals on the market.
Thanks for the support though.0 -
Actually refreshing to see a poster such as this, well done.
Stay with the parents and save up if thats what it takes. A year to save and it seems you have a good relationship with them.
And avoid credit cards (especially to fund other credit), that was a silly thing but then you know that now so you dont need to be told

Thanks for the praise, it makes me feel quite minty clean.
Thing is though, it really does make you realise how quickly things can get out of control. This is the second time this has happened to me and I think that the mistake I made last time was to keep the cards and not clear them all down. That little bit of debt I had on one card soon got out of control and it was a lost cause again.
The opportunity of living with the folks will afford me a big saving potential. Not only will I not be paying fuel, mortgage, ground rent, rates etc... but I will also be saving on Sky+ rental, broadband and all those other luxuries (that my parents' luckily have
)
So I expect to be saving up to a grand a month, I hope to get out running more - well you have to go somewhere of an evening to remain sane - and after a year or so I hope to have that 25% mortgage and a nice do-upper that can put some money in my account with a little tickle of paint and a kitchen/bathroom upgrade.
So fitness, money and sanity will prevail.
Thanks for the support and I can be a bit of a rockstar too y'know, it's not all honesty and doing the right thing all the time.

I will stay in touch and I might even be able to offer some good advice on 0% balance juggling.
It is quite the art form.0 -
1st thing I'd do is ask the CAB for some advise.0
