just a heads up. get the nationwide debit or cash card for 0% withdrawals fee on your travels. every little helps right.
Save saynoto0870.com in your favorites, and stop giving companies more £££ dialling 0870 numbers when you can dial freephones or cheaper alternatives
call your credit card company, tell them that you want to leave, 99% of the time theyll lower your APR%
Remember when that Bank Manager or Salesperson smiles at you, all he sees is £ notes. Dont forget the motto, "the wider their grin, the more debt your in"

There are lots of threads on round the world tickets ( rtw) and you can see them by using the search drop down menu at the top and searching chat forum.
You could start with trailfinders- rtw specialists. I booked with them and their advice and knowledge is valuable. STA do good deals especially if you're under 26.
Insurance is really important for a rtw trip- read the conditions carefully especially for medical, and make sure you have reasonable baggage too. Cheapest isnt always always the best. I used trailfinders but they are quite expensive, although they pais out quickly and easily. You could try the comparison sites for this too eg. https://www.travelsupermarket.com
