I rang up the company to check if it was legit. And the gent on the end of phone told me to book and come straight in. Then i asked if i had nothing to pay, he replied "oh its a great special offer u have won, you get it for £99."
I had a bit of an arguemement with him on the phone as my email clearly says "you have won 1 hours free teeth whitening and free aftercare pack". And in on their website where u sign up for the newsletter it says the exact same thing.
He got flustered and said he would check with his head office and ring back. And suprise, suprise, i havent heard a thing since. So its safe to say i think this one was a total con

Thanks for the update! Although i had pretty much written this one off as a scam, I was still waiting for a phone call from them as i'm sure it says in the email they will be in contact to arrange an appointment so had they of called I would have fired a load of questions at them..
It's annoying as it's one treatment i've wanted doing for a few years now.. Oh well, i guess you win some/you lose some :rotfl:
Thanks for updating us though, it's been helpful
I smile because I have absolutely no idea what's going on:dance:0 -
Sorry it was a con. But it's a good job you found out before they wanted money! Lots of people would like to win this. It's a shame these companies are allowed to do things like this. They should be made to keep their word.Comping challenges:

I know, i kinda felt like going the full hog and really pushing for this one, as its clearly an out and out con. And they knew it, as soon as i called them on it. Makes me angry that they can get away with it. But hey, what can u do,

So hasn't the op won then? If ur from the company isn't there something u could do for her?0

I think the company should still offer the ''winner'' the treatment or some form of prize regardless if the email was sent out in error, if you were a professional company you would at least offer something as way of an apology....You cannot come on here and post pointless messages unless you are actually going to do something about it otherwise people will have the same thoughts- A total con to get out a bit of mass marketing and a company to be avoided.0

Hi
The company has asked us to post a response on its behalf. MSE doesn't endorse anything a company says on the Forum.
Moreofthegoodstuff and others – I appreciate your comments and am now try to make up for the company error back in February, when it seems this situation was not dealt with satisfactorily.
As a company user this is being posted by site admin and I am also not able to contact anyone directly. Therefore if you wish to contact our head office –details found easily on our website I would be happy to offer a complimentary teeth whitening product to those that received the email in error, plus a substantial discount off the full treatment if they wanted to proceed with this – in order to build bridges and trust in our company again.
I am trying to make good on the human error caused by individuals who are no longer with our company, and I hope you can accept this gesture at face value - and we would love the opportunity to show moneysavingexpert users the real Diamond.
Could you do with a Money Makeover?
