Balance transfer credit score

does any1 know if doing balance transfers with credit cards affects your credit rating as I personally feel that it could hinder ur chances in near future

why would it hinder your future chances, the same amount of debt will be utstanding either way, the only point that could lower your school is if you applied for a new card to do the BT on then your score will slightly lower temporarily as other companies can see you applied for credit elsewhere0

AMEX a while ago were dishing out big limits, but turning down customer requests for a 0% balance transfer because their credit score was 'too low'.
My ex had it, after they gave her a £10k limit.........
So avoid those guys.0
