Hello I'm having TRV's put in every room except the bathroom but have been told that it would be ok to put one there .
I was under the impression that one radiator had to not have a TRV for flow through?
Not to sure what to do thought I'd ask you lot for help on this matter many thanks for any help on this matter regards leachy.

You were not necessarily told wrong - very much depends on your system. It may already have a bypass fitted or the boiler may also have a bypass fitted internally.
Listen to your engineer if he/she is qualified.

The advice I received was that it was preferable not to have thermostatic valve in the room in which the 'proper' thermostat is located. In our case the hallway.0

it's not preferable it's building regs, the uncontrolled rad should control the room stat which it may not be able to do if you have a trv on thereI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0
