I'm coming to the end of our 5 year fixed with Nationwide. Going to find out what the SVR is, but also looking what 5 year fix rates there are.
On a Value £300k, £150k mortgage, 20 years
Nationwide has a:
5 yr, 3.89%, 3.99% SMR, fee £999, monthly £900
Brittania
5yr, 3.39%, 4.24% SVR, fee £999, monthly £861
Would the current provider such as Nationwide match other deals?

Mortgages are not a Moroccan Bazarr.

Conversely, if you are looking at a new lender, you should look at remortgage rates as these will apply to you, a new customer.I am a mortgage broker.
