One oddity of the sale I was at this morning was mens suits but perhaps applied to other stuff. Picked up a suit jacket the right size but there were no matching trousers for this particular jacket on the £1 rails. Then I remembered that I thought Id seen the suit trousers upstairs in the half price sale. Went and found some and sure enough they were the matching trousers. Thought that they'd bound to be £1 but unfortunately not.... strange?

Asked an SA about it and they said that it does seem odd but the rails come in from central distribution and are priced separately to the instore stock of what appears to be the same stuff. Wierd:cool:

    Just came back from Tesco.

I wasn't interested in most of the stuff tbh (maybe that's because i went there late... i was still in bed at 8 lol)

I got a really nice pair of boot heels reduced from £20 to £1. I'm surprised someone hadn't picked them up... maybe they didn't realise they was reduced. I got 2 summer floppy hats for 50p each (originally £6.00.) Also got really nice wide leg floral trousers for £1 (originally £18) so very pleased.

Thanks for the heads up :)

Just got loads in our local tesco - £1 racks of adult clothes and lots of kids socks, tights, gloves and hats. When I left they were announcing 2 racks of kids clothes were coming out at 1 p.m. but I couldn't face the scrum!
  • Lots of lovely stuff in Bridgend store this morning. I got a brilliant haul of Summer clothes - a dress, ditzy-flowery short jumpsuit (that I wanted last season), cardi, 2 PJ bottoms (the luxury range), shorts, and 4 tops for £8.10 (the 10p was for the carrier bags lol!). Not much for gents, but some nice younger kids stuff.

Well, I'd already been twice this week and got lots for the kids but went this morning and got more. Men shorts £1, kids shorts 50p, women's trousers and top £1 each, cashmere jumper £5 and a few pairs of women's boots ranging from 50p to £7. Very pleased.
Also got a DTD as a pair of trousers reduced to £5 scanned at £16.

Lots of winter stuff like the boots were still labelled at full price but scanned cheaper so worth checking these things.
    Good luck everyone

Ah, that explains why the person in front of me at Tesco's had, literally, a trolley full of random clothes. The checkout guy rolled his eyes and indicated that the place had been full of eBay locusts for some time, lamenting that Tesco staff, or charities, should have had priority. I suggested the idea of a ten-item limit, but apparently that was not in place at this store.
