Vacuum cleaner for pet hair

I got a Vax bagless http://www.comet.co.uk/p/Cylinder-Vacuum-Cleaners/buy-VAX-C90-P2N-R-Cylinder-Vacuum-Cleaner/654191 £70-something when I bought it 6 months ago!
It came with a turbo-brush - best for defluffing sofa, and you can adjust the power so get extra suction where needed.
I do need to check the nozzle now and again and scrape some hair off the brush strip so it goes all the way down!
Must be good as I need to empty it twice for thoroughly doing a teeny cottage

If you haven't already got the cleaner, the Miele S 6220 is at Currys for £150 at the moment

There is a form to download to get a year's supply of miele filter bags

Santer, where's the form? I went to reevoo and can't find the form you're referring to.0

Thanks abwsco, unfortunately I didn't buy mine from Currys. Currys had the vacuum at £199 when I bought mine two weeks ago, bad luck...0

It's only 8 bags that you get free though!0

By mean, so far I think the best Pets Vacuum Cleaners are from Miele. That is a upright Vacuum cleaner but rather expensive. Miele Cat and DogS7260. In the long run, it's a good investment.0

I thought I'd ask again - most of the links are not working now guys. I've been thinking of a Miele but the price is a bit...
I've got carpets, one of which is particularly sticky, stairs and a border collie - long and short hair, a lot when shedding...
Any advice is welcome, my head is now sore, have been searching and reading reviews all day, it gave me such a headache.... help!
