Froddy so sorry to hear about your colleague - I do hope she recovers fully.

Bedroom Day in the Wolf's Lair; I shall take the trolley in with me to put stuff on while I dust, as I'm still having to work one-handed.

Also done a WM load, which is out on the line; took me ages to hang it out, have to take one piece at a time, and hang it up one-handed, being careful not to drop it on the wet (and rather long) grass! Luckily the socks and underpants go on the little carousel thingy, which can be done indoors, then just hung on a corner of the outside whirly-gig line.:o

I've got a canine guest coming next Tuesday, for 5 days. Short notice - the family has a crisis on and need to go abroad to deal with it (bereavement, I believe), and her usual host is away at present.:o 12 year old GSD/Collie Cross, name of Sadie.:o

Froddington very sorry to hear about your colleague. Hoping for positive changes & news.

I've been away in London for a few days, including a nail-biting trip to wembley Sunday gone. The right result in the end.

I've been tempted to eat loads whilst away, so jumped on the scales this morning with some trepidation. Weigh 1 lb less than when left - must be due to nervous energy burned off in watching the football.

We'd left in a rush so the house not at its tidiest. But I'm just going to pitch in with today's bedroom list. Very appropriate about finding the floor as I've just dumped things from my suitcase all over it.

    Afternoon all

It was clear when I got up, then foggy about 10 minutes later, but it's all cleared now and we have sunshine which is quite warm. The cats are on the garden bench topping up their tans. I've been out for my walk (and met a gorgeous 16 week old whippet) and read the paper and I've just finished cutting the front grass, I did the back yesterday. It's still quite wet and a bit muddy but it'll never dry unless I keep it cut.

Oh and I cleaned the bathroom and toilet before I went out and hung out a load of washing.

Not caught up yet, hope everyone's OK.

    Froddy
, hope your work colleague improves soon. Dusty, how is Ed?

    Afternnoon all

The sun has got his hat on .................................no prizes for guessing where the Dusty one has been (clue for newbies the dusty one is muddy). I did get my butt in gear and clean the bathroom first, put one wash on the line and reload the WM.

Froddy - healing vibes for your frined

Embb glad you are feeling a bit better

Piggers glad DD3 will be happy.

Going to put more washing on the line and then another couple of hours in the garden, suncream needed on the face first.

2 binbags of rubbish filled.. where does it all come from?

1 drawer in my bedside unit cleared.. it was quite gross :(

    TD on
1 load of dry stuff folded..
Space cleared for the cot to go up.

OH has moved the sofabed and vacuumed under it all... that was beyond gross.. it hasn't been done since easter last year at least judging by the easter egg box under it! I am so pleased it is looking nicer.. it is smelling a bit nicer in here now too.. just 2 more corners to thoroughly scrub through. OH is wiping the skirting now while I sit here doing nothing :p.

    Off to make a cuppa!

Froddington I'm so sorry to hear about your colleague. There are several London hospitals that specialise in heads. My Grandmother was bounced around them back in 2009 with a brain haemorrage and again when it reformed 6 months later. She recovered fully at the age of 86 . I will pray that your colleague gets as much care and attention as my relative did.

Pigpen - great news about the school place. Your lists are looking great too!

I've spent some time tidying up in the garden as it's such a glorious day. It's lovely to see the honeysuckle and clematis beginning to bud - I hope it's not too early. I've got the french doors wide open and fresh air is gently wafting through the house. 2 loads of washing are on the line.

In addition I've sorted a huge pile of paperwork and hoovered throughout downstairs.

I've done my accounts and am pleased to see that I've got quite a healthy bank balance. I know I've been very careful with my spending in the last 2 months worrying about my job so it's given me a little bit of security.

OH putting up the cot :D (We've only had it since October lol)

    DW, WM, TD on
    laundry hung to dry
    another carrier of rubbish flung
DW filter scrubbed.. will run it through a clean cycle once it has finished the next load :D

empty wash basket upstairs.. will go fill it when I have drank my cuppa and OH can bring the full ones down.

My downstairs doesn't look like we need industrial cleaners in, it is just cluttered now.. :D

Windows are disgusting but I'm not going to have time to do them today, I might do them Saturday..

I may be a bit peckish too.. don't think we have anything interesting to snaffle though.. might have to grab a couple of satsumas..
