I meant that you are too late if hoping for further falls - the corner was turned in 2009 - house prices have increased since then.
Of course, yours has too - just the gap is getting larger, not smaller - between the rungs.Bringing Happiness where there is Gloom!0 -

I don't think there will be a massive crash but prices will continue to gently fall. I think people need to get used to the fact that the mortgage market went crazy in the early 2000's and something like what is happening now will be more like the norm.
If mortgages are harder to come by then prices will fall.3.64KW system, aurora power one inverter, South west facing with no shading in Lancashire.0 -
Not sure where you are based ..... but, here on the South Coast, property prices are 20% higher than 2009 - that's actual selling prices too!
Not many coming to market, not many getting sold therefore and high prices been achieved ... I'm witnessing a lot of 'testing the market' going on. Shockingly, they are selling at those testing prices!Bringing Happiness where there is Gloom!0 -

in the north west, not much activity, the only ones selling are reasonably priced, in immaculate showhouse condition and with 5% min difference between asking and selling price.3.64KW system, aurora power one inverter, South west facing with no shading in Lancashire.0 -

The majority of them are forever attacking the person rather than the argument.
This stuff is so childish. Nearly everything I post on this board(and all my O/P withot a doubt) are on the subject of what we are supposed to be debating and never the person.
do you mean bulls or bull0 -
If you were born in 1979/1980, you also have the added bonus of being in the first year that university fees kicked in!
As a child of 1980, i must have missed this misfortune; but i did have the sensibility to save quite a lot in my first job and before i met my missus0
