Last Monday my grandparents' phone line went completely dead, so I phoned this automated thing on Monday afternoon which did a test on their line and detected a fault, this automatically alerted an engineer who had the line up and running again by midday Tuesday, and he even phoned them up to assure them that everything was up and running again.
Seeing that the automated message on the phone told me that the fault would be fixed within 72 hours, I wouldn't have expected it to take them less than a day.
Praise for TalkTalk... for a change
