Grill packed up! Help please

My Whirlpool oven has a built in grill that has failed.
The rest of the oven works fine.
It even has a built in rotiserie function ( unused in 5 years.)
PLease does anyone have any suggesions as to how I could coax it back into life?!

Possible, but unlikely. Remove it and do a continuity test. But if you can do that, you can change it yourself. It could also be the control.No free lunch, and no free laptop

OP, as already said by macman , check out old element first, and knob.
There should be a label with details somewhere, possibly below oven door.0 -
