If you haven't already, could you do a diary about HOW you're doing your wedding cheaply?Our LBM: Dec 2011. DMP started: Jan 2012. Debt at LBM: £41,568

to be honest, most of the wedding is already planned!!! :rotfl: That makes me sound like a right Bridezilla (shush Pepe!!
) but we are keeping it simple. Budget wise we have spent £1100 so far on stuff like deposits etc and we are probably going to be spending about 3k or so all in . We could have done it for even less (biggest spend is 1k on the honeymoon) but we have been really careful on what and where we have decided to spend money on and where we have spent a bit more than we 'could' have done, it is because it is an important aspect to us.
We want every spare penny now to go into the Portugal savings pot so all the old DFW techniques are being brought out of hibernation, brushed down and cranked back up again
