Dreaded attendance letters yesterday from school for both Missy H and Superman :mad: Missy H took umberage at this as her only time off is a hour here and there for her dread appointments. The attendance officer (who is lovely by the way and not the dragon I had assumed she would be ) called me for a chat this morning after Missy Hinge gave her a talking too about the unjusice of it:eek::eek::rotfl::rotfl: Go Missy Hinge!! :T


Trip to Mr Asda (i'm assuming it's a Mr by the dreadful layout and dis-organisation:o) this morning sees my pocket £87 lighter.....

£12 fire engine toy for xmas for Master Hinge,
£4 on a big big pack of play dough for Superman - he can play wth that in the garden ,
£7.50 some halloween tights and a bag for miss Hinge

The bargains!!

£2.12 for 2 packs 24 of fresh breaded chicken goujans
£1.75 for 2kg of red lentils reduced due to change of stock
£1.75 for 2kg dried chickpeas same as above
£1.50 for 15 tins of tomatoes :j:j yup 10p a can!!
75p for some ready to use pastry
£4 for 24 chicken thighs :eek: (currently in the oven so i can strip and bag up in portions in the freezer )
£1.01 for 9 peppers
12p broccili
18p aubergine

picked up bacon, mince and chicken breasts on the 3 for £10 to keep mr Hinge happy.

food for this week

Thursday: chicken goujans, Hm wedges and Peas
Friday: Lasange
Saturday: Hm chicken and veg pie with mash and a pint of gravy
Sunday :Gammon roast
Monday: chicken curry and bombay potatoes hm Naan
Tuesday: veggie chilli enchiladas with Hm garlic bread
Wednesday: something with chicken thigh meat :rotfl: risotto maybe

can you see a chicken theme :cool:

Harvest assembly for superman today.... cheeky chappy asked if we could send in a tin of beans as they are 'orribell and not his favourite chicken soup :rotfl:

I'm so proud of Missy Hinge I can tell where she gets her feisty side from :T. The Kings attendance was awful last year too and he's already had the sickness bug in Sept :eek: and off for a week.

I am looking for recipies on how to use so mred lentils and dried chick peas :rotfl::rotfl:I think from what I have read they may just solve missy Hinge's constipation problem

Missy Hinge is fiesty and yes it is totally my fault :rotfl:but I am also so very proud of her taking no !!!!!!£ and saying it how it is :j supermans if 91% and Missy Hinge 93%, superman has missed 2.5days due to injuries at school so they can hardly whinge!

Maybe if we all clubbed together we could buy to a helicopter as thats the only way to can pick the king up and get missy! failing that ask if missy can be taken to the office and you collect her from there, they take forever to do that at my school so should give you 10minutes breathing time!
