The easiest way of making sure something doesn't sell too low, is to start it at the lowest price you're happy with.
It would be good if ebay started to take shilling seriously & clamped down on it by banning everyone involved.0 -

Which means a higher listing fee right? Which is why people shill.
I have never sold on Ebay.
What happens when your item does not sell? You get another free listing? Then what happens if again it doesn't sell?
Is there any link which can show me the charges that Ebay charges?0 -

If an item doesn't sell 1st time and you relist it *and * it sells on 2nd attempt then you get the 2nd lot of basic listing fees refunded. However fi it doesn't sell on 2nd attempt then you pay both sets.
If it doesn't sell on two occasions you may well have just over estimated what it is worth.
For all fees the ebay help pages are surprisingly helpful (for once). Worth remembering though that for private sellers there are so many free listing weekends that a seller would be hard pressed not to find one if he waited a few days.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. If it's an item that you're pretty sure of the value you can put it on a BIN, I think they're 40p for 30 days. Or as soolin says, just list on free listing weekends.0
