Radiotherepy in USA

My son has got to have proton radiotherepy:( in the USA in 8-10 weeks time, He will be having treatment for 12 weeks & are looking to raise money to help fund the trip as the NHS will fund the flights & treatment but not everyday costs while we are there, also our bills in the UK still need to be paid.
We have some funding through charities and our good friends doing some fundraising for us but still need a bit more for the trip.
Does anyone know who or what could help us raise funds quickly.
Any help would be gratefully recieved:beer:
Thanks Mark

Talk to Macmillan. They give grants and can also point you to other organisations/charities that might helkp eg clicsergeant if your son is a child.
    Wishing you well.

Very happy to help if I can. There may also be charities local to you that could help, ask at your local CVS office, and don't forget the local Rotary Club, Round Table and Masonic Lodge might offer help.

It's great that you can get the NHS to help with this. I don't know but about this therapy but I can't understand why the NHS can't offer this themselves instead of you flying over to the USA.
