There's also a version of it called Gimpshop which is designed to look more like Photoshop. That may be easier to use if you are used to windows and not Linux/Unix.It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0 -
Or try this free application. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

The lessons are for Photoshop but they can be used to get an idea of how to work Gimpshop. You can always get more with a kind word and a 2-by-4 than with just a kind word.0 -
I like Faststone Image Viewer.
More features than the simple editors, but not quite as complex as the fully featured ones.Charlie0 -
Picasa, from Google,"Imagination is more Important than knowledge"0

and see what appeals to you. I suppose it all boils down to what you're comforatble with. I fell intothe trap of trying many free versions and had a whole bunch of icons on my desktop. I've now grouped them under two icons, one labeled "hardly used" and the other "fav.photo". That way I've got them all handy, but normally only use one, Picasa2This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
