  • Here's a maths problem. I get 20 jumbo plugs for £9.99 (nice deal, 50p a plant excl delv - good value and I took up the offer) but why do T&M have to treat me like a idiot and try to convince me each jumbo plug is worth £5?

When I rang customer care I was told that they are the same varieties as the below collections on T&M's website:

    PERENNIAL COLLECTION A

    15 plants for £14.99 (excl p&p)

    PERENNIAL COLLECTION B

    15 plants for £14.99 (excl p&p)

    and

    WEEDBEATER COLLECTION

£9.99 for 10 plants (excl delivery)

So what makes plants on the T&M website sell for £1 each, but by the time they get to MSE they magically become worth £5 each.

Sorry for being a buzzkill it just annoys me when company's lie to me. :(

Well done T&M though you obviously cleared your overstock issue :T

Thank you for letting us know what you received; and I agree with you. An original price of £5 per plug is utterly ridiculous.

Just to add to others to say make sure you double check how much you are ACTUALLY charged. I ordered, entered code, amount was adjusted down accordingly, went through payment etc...to find email then said I had been charged £100 as did my bank statement.
Just rung up and the woman knew what I was going to say before I explained, and said they were going through all orders manually and sending refunds so I guess this has happened a lot!
Make sure you get your refund as I do doubt that there will be anywhere near £100 worth of plants!

add me to the charged £100 club too !!!!!!, I didn;t even realise it had gone through because it went wrong that many times. What a joke, I don't even have £100 in the account I used

  • I emailed them as I got to the checkout stage with my card details entered and it kicked me off.

They kindly replied back and said the offer is still on just not on line!
Call up and they will let you order it (See below) :0)

"Thank you for your recent email, unfortunately our website was experiencing unusually high levels of traffic and this was causing some problems. Please rest assured this offer is still valid, however we are no longer able to accept orders for it online.
Sometimes an exceedingly high number of visitors at one time can cause the site to slow down for a short period of time. We appreciate that this is far from ideal. We are working on how we can improve this for our online customers and appreciate your efforts in bringing this to our attention.
In the mean time, if you would like to try ordering via our order line on 0844 573 1818, please note that there may be high volumes of calls, however we are open 9am till 6pm 7 days a week.
I apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused. Please get in touch if you experience any further problems.
    With best regards,
