Dummy solar powered CCTV

As deterant obviously.

There seem to be two models widely available with solar powered red light but judging which would look most realistic in the flesh is hard. Any opinions welcome.

Would-be burglars always know dummy alarm boxes from the real thing, however realistic they look, but I've no idea how. I daresay the same could well apply to CCTVs.

Doesn't really matter what model you have as long as you remember they're only a visual deterrant, which in itself has it's uses.
Use a yellow 'CCTV operates here' sticker in the window on approach to the property for maximum effect and a 'Smile, you're on CCTV' to deter unscrupulous door to door sellers.

you can buy real cameras (used) for less money than that.
or even new ones for not much more.

Gone off the solar powered idea. Not realistic-looking enough!

Have looked around for used/defunct real ones but without success.

Any suggestions for sourcing these?
