Importing music to itunes

I have my entire itunes collection backed up to external hard drive

Just setting up a new pc and want to import them. Is there a quick way to do it ? The only way I can figure out to do it just now is indivdually by track which is obviously very time consuming !!

Can someone please enlighten me on the quick way ?

Hi Alison,

Under the file menu there is an option to "Add folder to library"...simply select the folder on your external HD and click OK.
