Well I have just realised that I lead a very boring life:(
Take yesterday for example, got up, had porridge for breakfast and made coffee in perculator because I have run out of instant coffee but still have loads of ground:) Did some cleaning and went on the computer, had lunch, HM soup and HM bread and in the afternoon had a shower and hair wash, cos I went to the pictures with a friend of mine, we went to see The Exotic Hotel Marigold and it was fab!! Its like a OAP Shirley Valentine in a way (which is my favourite ever film) and I will certainly be buying the DVD oops perhaps I shouldnt have just written that:rotfl:
No I know my spending has to stop and this month I am determined not to have any more money out of the bank, I have to pay my CC card in the next few days, thats another £50, (more than minimum) but accouted for in the accounts.
I have got plenty to do this month without spending, different crocheting, knitting and sewing, when I finally become friends with my sewing machine, and sorting out my seeds and garden. I must admit I love buying flowers, I only buy reduced bunches and at the moment my daffs are still living (just:)) but I keep getting the urge and so far have resisted, mainly by not going out - its so sad really its a bit like being an addict this shopping lark, the ony way I am coping is not ging out cos I know if I going to the shops for a look round I will end up buying something and I need all the money for food:(
Anyway the sun is shining, my daffs are smiling at me and the washing machine has just finished so Im off to get it hung out on the line, and my TD is goiing to a good home (my DD3) as since well before Xmas I have been using it as a store for my potatoes and onions:rotfl:

Well Im sat in a cold house with a blanket round my legs and have just taken my gloves off cos I have to save every penny I can. I havent been on here the last few days as I have been feeling very low and just about kept everything together to actually get to work, as I havent been working there long enough to qualify for sick pay, Im finding this all very difficult and its getting me down to think this is how its got to be for the foreseeable future. I hide it very well from people and because I live in a nice house (not large or anything but in a nice area with a garden etc) and am going on three hols this year (two via The Sun and one paid for by the friend I am going with) every body including my children think Im reasonably well off - if only they knew the truth of half of it:(
Anyway thats why I havent been posting or even switching the computer on, so Im going back to being invisable for the time being until I feel more positive and more able to face the reality of my life
Jxx
PS If anyone reads any of this I hope all is well with you and carry on MSEing:)1 -

Hello Nanny, thought I'd pop up and say hello, :hello:, to see if we can spur you back into this diary xnannygladys wrote: »Well I have just realised that I lead a very boring life:(
No you are just feeling gloomy and down. It gets to us all, especially when all you can see is MSE and frugality stretching ahead of you. However, if you stick with it, it'll bear fruit in the end.nannygladys wrote: »Take yesterday for example, got up, had porridge for breakfast and made coffee in perculator because I have run out of instant coffee but still have loads of ground:) Did some cleaning and went on the computer, had lunch, HM soup and HM bread and in the afternoon had a shower and hair wash, cos I went to the pictures with a friend of mine, we went to see The Exotic Hotel Marigold and it was fab!! Doesn't sound boring to me. EHM sounds pretty good and like you enjoyed so worth the treat. xnannygladys wrote: »I have got plenty to do this month without spending, different crocheting, knitting and sewing, when I finally become friends with my sewing machine, and sorting out my seeds and garden. How has the craft making been going? Has the sewing machine stopped giving you the evil eye and come up trumps. I too bought a sewing machine for pretty much the same reason, cos I wanted one and planned to make all sorts of lovely things. Used it once to make my DD bridesmaid's dress for my 1st wedding, when she was 3 - she turns 30 next week. Oops, its probably got antique value now xnannygladys wrote: »Anyway the sun is shining, my daffs are smiling at me and the washing machine has just finished so Im off to get it hung out on the line, and my TD is goiing to a good home (my DD3) as since well before Xmas I have been using it as a store for my potatoes and onions:rotfl:

See life is good if you focus on the positive. A very expensive veg basket - LOL, lets hope your DD didn't mind oniony smelling clothes x
Anyway, I hope you are OK and pop up soon for some Granny support.
