I think they're fine. Or at least they were this morning. I'm on a London based exchange. Could be a problem at the exchange, give them a ring see what they say. Usually best to phone really early as the queue can get quite long."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0 -
Thanks Wolfman, contacted them at last and they seem to think it is my router that is requesting a time out. They also said that as the network is a wired one (we had that put in long before wireless and don't see the need to change as it suits us) that it might need the wireless connectivity disabling. This all seems a bit complicated to me. Had a new router put in last week (old one been around since 2003 and only capable of 2mg, new one capable of 16mg) and it was fine up till yesterday so cannot see how it could be the router.0

What make of router do you have?
1) Disabling the wireless is a load of nonsense. It won't effect your connection, although as general advise it's probably worth doing if you're not using it.
2) Try logging into your router. If you can do so, your pc is obviously networked ok, so the connection from the router to the pc isn't the problem.
3) Log into the router and basically double check it's setup correctly (You've used the right username and password for connecting to eclipse etc...). Then try and get it to connect to the internet. There should be a "status" type section somewhere in the router that'll show if it's connected or not.
It sounds like either a problem at your exchange, or with Eclipse, but you have to try and eliminate any possibilities at your end first.
Maybe email them, so you have a timestamp when it started occurring. Then if the issue does end up being their fault, you can try asking for a discount due to loss of service, and time on your behalf."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0 -
I have eclipse at home and work and both are fine.0
