Can I just ask, those that got lots of Lego sets such as Cars and Harry Potter, were they marked at that price, or did you have to scan them? And were they really big Tesco Extras?

I went to a medium sized Tesco yesterday and thanks to the tips from this thread got:

    Game of Life £4.50
    Guess Who Electronic £4.50
    Scrabble Tricksters £9
Bob the Builder Surf Shack Playset (RRP £40) for £5

I had to go and scan all of these as they were marked up on the SEL with higher prices, or not marked at all. There were also a few Zhu Zhu play sets for £4.50 (and some at full price of £21) but I decided not to go for these.

Really pleased as I'd been wanting the Scrabble and Guess Who anyhow. My DS is playing happily with the Bob the Builder play set, I definitely wouldn't have paid £40 for it, but worth £5.

was in St R0ll0x today gl@sgow, and managed to get a baby annabel, £11 to put away for my daughters xmas, there was another in the first toy isle on bottom shelf, found a dancing eric (happy feet 2) which scanned at 9.50, very annoying paid 39 for this at xmas, i have placed this on the bottom shelf at the toys at the end of the stationery isle, loads of thomas stuff, i bought the last two storios (blue) £14 as i have birthdays coming up and my neighbour was looking for one at christmas. unsure if any more will go out as there were staff with the cages placing more reduced stuff at a seperate section at the rear of the store and there were a handful of the vtech mini things, hope this helps someone.

I went into the Tesco's in St Stephen's in Hull today and they had toy kitchens for £6 and toy market stalls for £8.50. We'd gone in looking for play food and money so my son came out very happy with a market stall with food and money, and I was very happy with the price!

    Both full price online.
It is only a bargain if you need it!

Oh Hull store also had HUGE teletubbies (po) soft toys for £2.50 and huge peppa pigs for a tenner. I didn't dare look down the full aisle to see what else was on offer as I already had the market stall to carry home!
