Big toy sale and clearance on at Tesco!

My other half has just got back from Tesco (Peterborough) and said there was a BIG toy sale on. Lots of good deals (can't remember exact prices for all so some are approx!) The lady said it started today, assume nationwide?! Apparantly there were loads of toys on offer.

Lego Hogwarts half price at £51. That's the cheapest I've ever seen it so bought one for Santa to collect and bring back at Christmas. Lego Ramses game was £4 as well. Doctor Who family game £9. Lots of the usual Hot Wheels tracks half price - mainly colour shifters which soak your carpet.

Oh yes apparantly stacks and stacks of technical lego and star wars lego half price. My 2 are a bit young for that so DH didn't really look at prices.

Sale on clothes starts tomorrow in Tesco. Big notices of "price drop" going up after store closes today.

Just to say the bigger lego deals are only in the larger stores it seems. Ninjago fire temple 1/2 price can't remember exact cost but good
Alien mothership is £24.00 now and if someone can find me Anakin and Sebulbas' pod racer in a north east area in store I would be SO greatfull

Loads of things in our home store, not in the local though.

Fireman Sam/ bob builder playset 5 pounds (these were 20 in half price toy sale, never worth 40 but bargain for 5)
Smaller bob sets for 3.50
zanussi Play kitchen 8 pounds
Cars 2 mini remote control vehicles 3.50 from about 15
Wooden farm (buildings, vehicles, people etc) 7 ish
Postman pat 3 in 1 playset 7.50
Some bakugan things (not sure what they are:))
Lots of small plush characters 1.50/2 pounds
Everything's Rosie set 4 pounds from 15 ish.

That's what I can remember but there were lots of bits in a clearance section, dome marked at normal prices, I didn't try them to see if they were reduced, but lots of big reductions.

Quite a good selection of toys at my local homeplus were in the clearance too. Approx 75% off. In addition to the above post I saw:-

Thank you, I just got two sets of Lego Duplo online for my son for £13, one was cars and one was Toy story

Can't believe so few people have posted on here. It looks like all the sale items instore are halved again! Had to price check everything and all were half the shelf price! Lots of staff running round with price checkers but not actually altering any of the shelf prices to the correct sale price. So irritating as price checkers are broke and staff were really nasty at service desk when I kept asking them to check prices. Seems, according to one particular member of staff, we are not supposed to buy items at a sale price!!

I didn't have time to price check anything this morning as was too busy stocking up on Pampers but will price check a few bits later thanks
