when buying for that price 1 yr warranty doesnt give me piece of mind
empiredirect have 42" plasma for 699 choice of lg or philips and you can buy 3 year warranty for 19.99 plus 2% via quidco
Just seen that. I live outside Leeds so may pop into Empire Direct and have a look.
Would prefer LCD though, mainly because they use less electricity!
Still swaying towards the Philips one in Currys. If the sell for what I can order online I'll be happy. Currys is 300 yds from my house

Min screen size of 37" required.
The 'Misco' Vision 42" true HD LCD seems a bargain and am seriously tempted, but never heard of Misco or Vision. Does this matter when buying TV's? A 1 year warranty should give me piece of mind, shouldn't it?
How do I convince the wife to buy online when she'd rather us walk into Currys and buy the 37" Philips HD Digital LCD she likes for £700? (although I could haggle with the 5% code I could say I would use online!!)
Always this 40" Samsung, for £799, at comet that they are advertising on TV at the moment.
