Empire Direct have this deal at the moment the DVD has a built in freeview and 80gb hard drive as well. For £1099
If the link does not work find the Sony KDL 46s2010U LCD TV then click on the package deals at the top of the page in the red and find the TV again.

If you get one that is working ok, I'd say 670 for a 42" band name panel is an excellent buy, even considering the returns aspects.

There's folk on here quite prepared to buy a 32" panel of an un-named brand for £450-500...

You said if you get one that is working ok!?!

Does that imply that they are refurbed, or were you just saying?

They aren't refurbed as far as I know.

I was merely addressing the matter raised by the poster above me regarding the potentially problematic return of the set should something go wrong.

Looks like your url has misformed or changed, it is actually here. Might need a call to c/s though as the tv is priced at £999.99 with a Free hd/dvd recorder yet the total shows as £1099.99 . Comes with a free 5 year guarantee as well. Just bear in mind it isn't one of the top Sony models.
    ..........Insert amusing tagline here..........
  • it is also an old model television, only one hdmi socket therefore not very future proof.
  • Good find but take into account that it does not do 1080p

When I found this deal the other day theTV on its own was £1099. The recorder is over £200 on most sites and the warranty is worth £250. Also the Which report puts the 40" s2010 as best buy even now with the newer models.
