Cooking with Kids prize terms and conditions
This prize promotion is open to all UK residents aged 18 and over who upload a recipe to tesco.com/realfood, which meets the Cooking with Kids recipe criteria below, except employees and their immediate families of Tesco Head Office, Cedar Communications, their agencies or anyone professionally connected to the prize draws.- To qualify for entry into the Cooking with Kids weekly draws and grand prize draw, recipes uploaded must be simple, quick and form part of a well-balanced diet that children can help to make. Entrant’s whose recipes do not meet this criteria will not be eligible to win a prize. Customer recipes terms and conditions on tesco.com/realfood also apply.
- No third party entries. Proof of entering is not proof of receipt.
- The weekly prize draws will run for seven weeks with the first prize draw opening at 11.00 GMT on 21st February.
- 1. Entrants are invited to submit recipes between 11.00 GMT on 21st February 2012 and 23.55 GMT on 9th April 2012 to tesco.com/realfood. All qualifying entries will automatically be entered into the prize draw for that week as well as the grand prize draw. Entrants may enter more than once into the weekly draw by submitting a different recipe each time.
2. The weekly draw winners will be the first entries drawn at random by an independent person from all qualifying entries submitted that week. Draws will run from 11.00 GMT on Monday to 23.55 the following Sunday. 5. All qualifying entries will also be submitted into the grand prize draw. There is one grand prize consisting of two elements. The first element is: a two-night break for two adults (or two adults and two children up to the age of 16) at Augill Castle, Cumbria. This part of the prize must be taken by 31st March 2013, Sunday to Thursday, excluding Christmas and New Year and is subject to availability. Prize includes breakfast and dinner (excluding beverages) on both nights. The prize also includes a bespoke cookery class in the kitchens of the castle. Travel, meals other than stated, additional expenditure and spending money are not included. The second element of the prize includes a trip to London for the winner and one child or guest to be filmed with a chef. This part of the prize includes up to £500 towards accommodation and economy travel to/within London. The film will be featured on tesco.com/realfood. The winner will need to travel to London between 13th April 2012 and 22nd April 2012. A mutually agreeable date will be confirmed with the winner at time of notification.
6.Prizes must be accepted as offered, and no prize can be exchanged in part or in full. There is no cash or alternative to the prizes stated, and the prizes are not transferable. The grand prize must be taken in its entirety.
7.For the weekly draws, only one winner per household permitted.
8.The promoter’s decision is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into. Entry implies acceptance of these terms and conditions.
9. The winners may be required to take part in publicity resulting from this promotion. Entrants’ recipes will be featured on the Tesco Real Food website.When you submit any materials, including the recipe, via the promotion, you thereby licence and grant the promoter, its affiliates and sub-licensees an exclusive, royalty free, perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable and sub-licensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish and display such content for any purpose in any media, without compensation, restriction on use, attribution or liability. You agree not to assert any moral rights in relation to such use, where moral rights in respect of the content are yours to assert. You warrant that the recipe is your original works and that it has not been copied, in whole or in part, from any other material and that you have the full authority to grant these rights to the promoter. Entries cannot be returned
10.No responsibility can be accepted for entries incomplete, corrupted, delayed, damaged, wrongly delivered, or not received for whatever reason.
11. The weekly winners will be notified by post, email or phone within 28 days of the closing date. In the event that the winner cannot be contacted within a further 28 days, or cannot take the prize for whatsoever reason the promoter reserves the right to withdraw prize entitlement and award the prize to a reserve redrawn by an independent person. For the grand prize the winner will be drawn and notified by email or phone by 11th April 2012. In the event that the winner cannot be contacted, or cannot take the prize for whatsoever reason, within 24 hours of notification the promoter reserves the right to withdraw prize entitlement and award the prize to a reserve redrawn by an independent person.
12. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the promoter reserves the right to substitute alternative prizes of equivalent or greater value.
