how much to rebuild flat

i live in a purpose built 4 in a block flat is there anyway i could find out the rebuild cost i know its not the same as a regular house thanks for any help

You can't rebuild a flat singularly, it is part of the whole building structure.
The freeholder has to take out building insurance annually, which is then charged to you via the service charge. So you could ask the freeholder how much the building is insurred to rebuild and then divide it by 4. However thats still not accurate.0 -
You do not need to take out a cover for the whole building, as the liability part of the policy would cover the other flats.
What you need to do is to calculate the cost of rebuilding your flat as a single entity.
