Help newbie

After reading several posts on here I have called the follwing banks:
Lloyds TSB -had a loan in 2006 could'nt remember loan account etc- registered my complaint rand back today and was told there was no ppi on the loan (can't remember wheather there was or not)
Contacted Barclays for 2 egg accounts-which i had in 2003 gave them all details apart from account numbers -they can't locate any accounts in my name
Contacted santander for my old capital cc -which i had in 2004 they said i had no ppi on it.
Contacted American express had card in 2003 -again no ppi on it.
Contacted RBS i had asked re mortage protection from 2000-2007 i did this on 31/1 rang today and was told they can't find any complaint logged against my account numbers and have taken the complaint as from today.
Contacted HFC -had several loans and a computer from dixons i know i had ppi on the loans they can only find the account for the purchase of the computer and no information on he loans.

What am i doing wrong!!! please advice:o

    You would need the agreement if you think they are wrong, you will have to Sar the bank

    This will cost you £10 and they have 40 days to give you the info they hold on you, you could ring them and ask for a copy of the agreement, they may supply this at no cost then you do not need a Sar.

    If these were closed accounts Egg may not have passed these over, put the complaint into Egg.


    Looks like you will have to Sar Santander, American Express and HFC for all info they hold on you.
