Suspended From eBay???

Its not a spoof as i just logged in to ebay and it says my account has been suspended. :eek:
I have never heard of this other account

Any ideas anyone?

Have you ever had more than one account?

My colleague technically has two accounts as he kept forgetting his login details and eventually had to start a new account!

Alternatively... has anyone you live with got an ebay account... or have you recently moved?

My ex had an account but the name was nothing like that

I moved in November but havent actually changed my address on ebay yet just put my new address down as a current address.

Possibility...?

Someone has use your address falsely to open an account, which has been suspended.

This is in the realms of identity theft, so I'd say you need to get on to Live Help.



That account was registered in Essex, if that means anything. Looks like they bid on something and didn't bother paying.

Its funny you should say that actually, my ex has just got out of court for fraud and theft :rolleyes:

Sorry that didnt make sense did it :rotfl:

My previous address is still on ebay as my main address, and my current address has been added as a secondary address.
I only did it like that because i bid on something and won it last week, and then realised i hadnt yet changed my address on ebay, and it only gave me the option to add a secondary address.

In that case, as you have given ebay a new address to cross-check, they may have linked your new place to a suspended account previously held there.
