Hi all
Probably a stupid question: do the comparison sites list the cheapest suppliers, regardless of current details? Obviously you have your columns telling you how much there is to save, but that's just a complementary detail, right?
I'm moving house soon, and I've no info at all.

I think you need some basic info in order for them to compare - the cheapest tariff will depend on usage as many of them have dual rates.
When you go on the comparison site, at the point where you are asked for current usage / payments, there is sometimes an option saying that you don't have those details - it then asks you for some details about the property, and it estimates average usage from that.0 -
The EnergySavingsTrust will give you an estimate of usage based on your personal circumstances.0
