I am buying the above car but a few things worry me. The car is under manufactures warranty until March but the last service was June 2010 if I get the car serviced will the warranty be valid as it missed 2011, 9000 miles since service. Also there is no spare wheel or tool kit just a puncture repair kit with generator and foam. I know some are sold like this but should there be a key for the locking nut or do the garages have their own when repairing punctures. Thanks for any advice.

There should be a locking wheel nut key as far as I know, although the dealers probably have a master set - no good to you if you need a tyre change at Kwik-fit on a Sunday!

From experience, I'd suggest a service that is so late will void the warranty - most manufacturers only give a month or so and/or 1k in mileage as a tolerance. With so little warranty left anyway, I presume you'd get one with the car or buy one anyway if you're after peace of mind?

I'd perhaps wonder how well the previous owner looked after the car though if it hasn't been serviced since June 10?
