Hi everyone,
I have been using the US version of MS Money for a few months (2007 version) and have finally got the hang of it.
I now have the UK version as I want to be able to link up to UK banks etc.
However, when I open the UK version and try to get my normal Money file opened, it asks for a password and won't let me open it no matter what.
Seeing as I never set a password for the file when I was using the US MS Money, I don't know how to get round this?
I really don't want to enter the last 3 months data again onto the UK MS Money as it has taken ages to get it just right, anyone got any suggestions?
Many thanks :T

The UK version of Money was last updated in 2005 (from memory) and hasn't been touched since, with little chance of an upgrade. I'm guessing the UK version just can't read the 2007 file format and the prompt for a password is a red-herring.0 -
AaaaAaah - sounds about right. I think I will be sticking to my 2007 US version then... works well, and once you get used to the tutorial drawl, it's very good!MFW #185

Not long ago I asked Microsoft UK and even they hadn't been told by HQ if there was ever going to be an update/upgrade for the UK (or European for that matter) version."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

I'm glad I have the US version then - at least it's up to date. I can still continue to use online banking to double check figures and download statements.MFW #185
