How old is this debt, Gemma? Not statute barred by any chance? And you really must never speak to them again. Don't respect them, Moorcrofts are amongst the lowest of the low. They treat you with contempt, return the compliment. Who the hell do they think they are?

NEVER EVER talk to them on the phone,moroncroft are evil and dont desserve to be able to upset you. take it from me who has first hand experience of them. keep everything in writting. dont be scared/upset by them. i had one of their agents on my drr once,at the time it terrified me but looking back he was a coward. as he made very little effort after i told him id call the police and two weeks later accepted token payments from me.

I`ve just paid off Moorcroft. No problems, had a paying in book as I said I wouldn`t do dd. Only time I spoke to them was to request a new book when needed. After reading posts I wonder if things have changed since when i started.
