I've read a few books over the last few months (the usuals recommended on here) and found Tim Hale's book particularly useful. I set up my first S&S Isa back in January with 5k and will put in another 3k this month.
I'm using various websites for info including motley fool and iii.
I wonder if forum users have any thoughts on subscription to publications such as money week- are these worthwhile? If I subscribe to one publication as a beginner in investing should this be the one or are others better?

It might depend on what sort of investor you are. Do you buy shares directly, or funds ? Short-term or buy-and-hold ?
I get the impression investors chronicle, for example, is very into individual (uk) stock-picking. Or you might just read the newspapers to get a sense of what's going in the world, to help choose funds.0 -
I subscribe to Shares and MW. I enjoy reading them but use them to do further research from. I end up investing in about 2 shares per YEAR! I would buy a copy of each in a newsagents for a few months and decide which format you like best and are most interested and take it from there.0
