Hi there,
I hope someone can help me, I was going to put in a claim on my Lloyds TSB loan and so I asked for the details; paper work/account numbers etc and they sent these and also a copy of a form I signed called Loan Protection Acknowledgement of purchase which shows that I opted for the ppi. Does this mean I can't claim? I never asked for this ppi, they didn't ak me if I was entitled to sick pay or about my medical history. I also felt that it was something that I was pushed into taking, but at the time I needed the loan and went along with it. Does anyone think this is still worth claiming? I also want to make a claim on my LLoyds credit card - do I need to make all the claims together?
Re: the credit card do I need to ask them for details on how much ppi I have paid over the years on that first?
Thank you in advance for any help.

Hi there,
I first complained in 2009 as I was told over the phone that it was as month to month insurance and I could cancel it at anytime. In 2009 I tried to cancel it and was told that I had already paid all of this off as they take the whole amount and add it to your loan and you pay that off before you start paying your loan  also I was never informed that I did not need this as I had been working for my employer for 8 years and had a full sick pay and redundancy package etc. I received a reply with the same thing saying that I had signed the paperwork (they included a copy of this). I phoned and told them that this was not clear on the paperwork and I went with what I was told on the phone as my sister had been told exactly the same thing (turns out we were both lied to) but they would still not back down. I then put in a new complaint in April 2011 and this was finally up held. I would still go a head with your complaint and see how you get on!
Hope this helps0 -

Look here for reasons for mis sell

Use all that apply and put a claim in.
Lloyds are longwinded paying redress out if it is upheld! but if you have a claim then go for it.

You do not need to ask how much ppi you paid, if you win redress they work this out for you.0 -

You can claim if you suffer a claimable event. That is not the same as saying you are entitled to your money back.I never asked for this ppi
The form you signed suggests that you did.they didn't ak me if I was entitled to sick pay or about my medical history.
That might make a difference if it meant that you would have had a claim turned down on those grounds but not otherwise.I also felt that it was something that I was pushed into taking
You are unlikely to be able to prove that.
[quot]I also want to make a claim on my LLoyds credit card[/quote]
On what grounds?
At the moment you seem to be saying you want them to pay the money back but have not given a reason why they should do so.0
