help with installing pc game carte blanche

hi, i am trying to install the pc game carte blanche but it keeps coming up with this message

'this application has failed to start because d3dx9_30.dll was not found. re installing th application may fix this'

i have reinstalled it numerous times and it still has this message.

anyone any ideas what i can do?

thanks but i tried that earlier after puting it into google but it didn't work even after i reinstalled it. i tried the other link but it said it needed express zip which i would need to pay for. anyone any other ideas?

dont need express zip, XP supports the zip format.

i just downloaded the file and extracted it. no problem.

download the file and extract the compressed file into your windows/system folder.

Have you installed direct x 9 from microsoft ?
