Hi.

you are probably on US settings, some of your other keys will be wrong as well, @ = ! and vice versa.

Go into control panel> keyboard, and set for English.

hi thanks i looked at control panel but can't see where to change the settings for keyboard at the moment

pressing shift 2 gives @
pressing @ gives '
pressing shift @ gives "
pressing shift pound sign gives @

make sure its uk

then click on languages then details

make sure that is english uk (use add if needed)
