Checking past Credit Cards & Loans

Between 1995 & 2009 I must have had at least 6 or 7 credit cards and one loan. As they have all been paid off in full (last one in 2009) I have no paperwork or details on any of them.

How can I find out exactly how many credit cards and loans I have ever taken out so I can check all the PPI payments?

I have been working full time since 1994 and I am 100% sure that PPI was paid on all of them as it would have covered me if I couldn't work for whatever reason.

If you know the banks then ring them and ask if they can find you, you could get a free trial of your credit report and this will list the cards and loans you have had in the last 6 years, there will be the last 4 digits of the account numbers and if you feel you have mis sold, look here for reasons.

And if any/all apply to you then make the claims.

If you paid any by DD ask your bank if they can find the account numbers and companies you had DD going out to, if you have internet banking, go on your DD list, this will show account numbers and who it was paid to.

The loans and cards from 95, you will need to know the banks you had these with.
