Insurance premium payment on hsbc mastercard statement

hi, sorry to but in, i`ve been trying to find out some info on something on an old credit card statement i dug out the cupboard. i just posted a thread about it. my statement has INSURANCE PREMIUM written in the transaction details area of the statement... is this the same as what you seen on your friends ??

Well, his was in lower case and yours was in capitals, but I'm going to have a stab at saying it's the same thing.

It's PPI.

the reason i ask is because i never knowingly took out ppi, i`v also since discovered a ppi pack from 2005 which hsbc sent out to me which i never signed and sent back, thats why i`m thinking !!!!!! this is??
