  • PS HelpWhereICan - I hope you make it back to Africa one of these days! Welcome-back Tusker on me :)

Always was the plan, but I've ended up marrying someone who goes nuts when she sees a Salamander on the wall on holiday in Spain!!

Not sure she'd cope with bloukop, chongololo and the other creepies we had their (sure there will be different names local to Uganda).

Miss having Lemon, Banana, Guava, Paw Paw and Mango trees in the garden, sundowners, a proper braai and most of all the Zambian people.

Thought of getting the best of both worlds by flying out to Zambia on a regular basis to work with expats but decided against. One day though.

Good luck and think of me next time you're sat on the verandah watching a real thunderstorm!
I am an IFA (and boss o' t'swings idst)

  • Many of the big international banks such as HSBC have services for expats often based in the Channel Islands. Google is your friend.

Do be aware that US citizens are expected to file tax returns even if they have no links to the USA. There are penalties if you don't.
