Car Welding in Cardiff

My car has failed MOT and needs to have a bit of welding done around the sills near the suspension. Just a bit of patching.
Can anyone advice a likely cost (i know difficult as you cant see it) and can anyone recommend a garage in cardiff for this kind of work?

The garage I use has a mobile welder that comes in for jobs like these. What does the place that failed it suggest?
The last fail for a similar description, cost me £100 + vat, I took the carpets up, moved the loom, bits of trim, etc, before it went in though.

They advised it was just a small amount of patching by where the suspension sits onto the sill, but they dont do repairs so couldnt give a quote

I don't know cardiff I'm afraid.
The only other places to find one, is either another garage, yellow pages for a mobile welder, (but probably will need ramps to weld the underside of the sill), or a body repair shop, again yellow pages.

OP, before you come back and post about the quotes, be aware that they'll have to take out the carpet in the rear of the car which may involve removing the seats and may also need to move the wiring harness so they don't set the whole lot alight as they're welding the car up.

Also be aware that "a small patch" quite often turns out to be "a significant amount of welding" when they start cutting back to try and find fresh metal they can actually weld to.
